HubtelAlex Bram is chief executive of Hubtel, the Accra-based payments, messaging and commerce company formerly known as SMSGH. He joined SMSGH in 2005 as a sales and marketing executive, became general manager and has been CEO since May 2014.
He attended St Augustine's College in Cape Coast and studied chemistry at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2005. He has since completed executive programmes including Stanford Graduate School of Business's LEAD certificate in corporate innovation and Harvard Business School Online courses.
He sits on the board of Impact Investing Ghana and was a board member of the Ghana Chamber of Technology from 2018 to 2024.
