2.4 Platform Communications

When you create an account, we collect your email address. As a registered member, you may receive platform updates and product newsletters. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link provided in each email.

2.5 Third-Party Business Data

To provide comprehensive product information, we collect and store business data about companies listed on the Platform from third-party business intelligence providers. This data is sourced using the company's publicly available website domain and may include:

• Company profiles: Headquarters location, phone number, website, social media links, estimated employee count, estimated revenue, and technologies used.
• Funding information: Funding rounds, amounts raised, dates, and investor names.
• Key personnel: Names, professional titles, LinkedIn profile URLs, and professional email addresses of senior employees (founders, executives, and vice-presidents).
• News articles: Publicly available news articles referencing the company.
• Job postings: Active job listings published by the company.

This data relates to companies and their employees, not to Platform users. It is collected under our legitimate interest in providing useful, comprehensive product information to our users. Professional email addresses obtained through enrichment are stored internally and are not used for marketing or displayed publicly on the Platform.

Individuals whose personal data appears on the Platform through business enrichment may request correction or removal at any time (see Section 8).

2.6 Payment Information

If you purchase a premium listing, your payment is processed by a trusted third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers. We only receive confirmation of the transaction, including the amount paid and the associated product.

2.7 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

• Session data: IP address and browser user agent, stored temporarily as part of your authentication session.
• Analytics data: We use privacy-focused analytics tools for product analytics, session recordings, and error tracking. These tools may collect anonymised usage data and, for authenticated users, link events to your account to improve the user experience.

These services only receive publicly available website URLs and content. No personal user data is sent to these services.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights or safety, or investigate potential violations of these terms.

4.4 Third-Party Business Data

The Platform displays business information about listed companies, including company profiles, funding data, key personnel, news, and job postings. This data is sourced from third-party business intelligence providers and publicly available sources. We display this data to help users make informed decisions about software products.

We do not sell, rent, or share business enrichment data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Individuals whose personal data appears on the Platform through business enrichment (such as company executives listed on a product page) may contact us to request correction or removal of their data (see Section 8).

5. Access to Certain Data

Some data on the Platform is available to all visitors, while certain information requires you to create an account and sign in. Data that may require sign-in includes full team member listings, complete news archives, and complete job posting lists for listed products. Creating an account to access this data is subject to our standard data collection practices described in Section 2.1.

We use session cookies only for authentication purposes. These cookies are essential for keeping you signed in and do not track your activity across other websites.

We do not use any third-party tracking cookies. Our analytics provider may use local storage to maintain session continuity for analytics and session recordings.

• Submissions and reviews: Retained for as long as the associated product listing is active on the Platform.
• Email preferences: Retained as part of your account until you unsubscribe or delete your account.

• Payment records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
• Company enrichment data: Organisation profiles are refreshed approximately every 3 months. News and job postings are refreshed monthly. Personnel data is refreshed annually. Data is retained while the associated product listing is active on the Platform.
• Personnel data: Names, titles, and professional profiles of company personnel obtained through business enrichment are retained while the associated product listing is active. Individuals may request deletion of their data at any time.

8. Your Rights

8.1 Platform Users

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email.

If your personal information (such as your name, job title, or professional profile) appears on the Platform as part of a company's business data, you have the right to:
