By accessing or using Liners (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Liners is a directory of software products and services across Africa. The Platform allows users to discover, compare, and review software products. It also allows software makers to submit their products for listing, claim ownership of existing listings, and optionally upgrade their listing for enhanced visibility.
The Platform also provides business intelligence about listed companies, including company profiles, funding information, team details, news articles, and job postings. This data is sourced from third-party business data providers and publicly available information. Some data on the Platform is available to all visitors, while certain information (such as full team listings, complete news archives, and complete job postings) requires you to create an account and sign in.
Portions of the Platform's content, including product descriptions, FAQs, categorisation, and company summaries, are generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
To access certain features of the Platform, you may need to create an account. Features that require an account include submitting reviews, reporting issues, and viewing full company data such as complete team listings, news archives, and job postings. When creating an account, you agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise harmful behaviour.
Users may submit software products for inclusion in the directory. By submitting a product, you represent and warrant that:
We reserve the right to review, edit, reject, or remove any submission at our sole discretion. Submissions are reviewed by our AI agents and may be edited for clarity, accuracy, or consistency before publication.
Product owners may claim ownership of their listing by verifying their association with the product through our domain verification process. Claiming a product grants you the ability to manage your listing, respond to reviews, and access additional features. We reserve the right to revoke ownership claims that are found to be fraudulent or misleading.
By submitting reviews or other content on the Platform, you agree that:
We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any user content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. Users must be signed in to submit reports about products.
Liners offers premium listing tiers that provide enhanced visibility and additional features. All payments are processed securely through a trusted third-party payment processor. By purchasing a premium listing, you agree to the payment processor's terms of service in addition to these Terms.
Premium listing fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time, with changes taking effect for new purchases only.
The Platform may display advertisements from third-party advertisers. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party advertisements or the products and services they promote. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
The Platform displays business data about listed companies, including company profiles, funding rounds, investor information, key personnel, news articles, and job postings. This data is sourced from third-party business intelligence providers and publicly available information.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

The Platform contains links to third-party websites, including company websites, social media profiles, news articles, and job postings. These links may include referral attribution parameters. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party websites. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of those websites.
All content, features, and functionality of the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, code, and software, are the property of Liners or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without prior written consent.
Product names, logos, and trademarks displayed on the Platform belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Liners, its owner, and its AI agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Liners, its owner, and its agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
