Who these rules cover

These rules apply when you submit a review, suggest a correction, submit a product, reply to a review, report content, or send other public content to Liners.

Some areas have extra rules. Reviewers should read the guidelines for reviewers. Product owners should read the guidelines for product owners.

Use Liners honestly

Use your own account and give accurate information about your identity, experience, or connection to a product.

Do not:

• Impersonate another person or company.
• Hide a conflict that would change how readers judge your content.
• Create accounts to fake support, evade limits, or repeat rejected content.
• Submit content for someone else while presenting it as your own.

Keep contributions useful

Write about the product, page, or issue at hand. Give enough detail for readers or a Liners reviewer to understand your point.

Allowed contributions include:

• A specific review based on your own use.
• A correction with a source.
• A product submission with the official name and website.
• A respectful owner reply that answers the review.

Liners may reject spam, repeated text, copied content, promotional links, or content with no clear link to the page.

Treat people with respect

You may criticise a product or business decision. Do not threaten, harass, shame, or attack a person.

Liners does not allow hate speech or content that targets someone because of a protected trait. We may also remove graphic, sexual, or violent content that has no clear public-interest reason to appear.

Protect private information

Do not post passwords, payment details, home addresses, private phone numbers, customer records, private messages, or other personal data without a clear right to share it.

Proof images and sources must follow the same rule. Crop or hide private details before you upload them.

Do not mislead readers

Do not submit false claims, fake proof, manipulated screenshots, or content that leaves out a business connection readers need to know.

Do not use Liners to promote illegal products, scams, malware, or activity that harms other users.

Commercial content

Do not place sales messages, affiliate offers, referral links, or lead-generation text inside reviews or correction requests. Product owners can use the listing and ad tools Liners provides for commercial information.

What Liners may do

Liners may hold, reject, correct, or remove content that breaks these rules. We may ask for more detail before deciding.

The action depends on the content type and the information available. Read moderation, reports and enforcement for the process and contact route.
