Paystack has launched a Small Business Programme in Nigeria, with discounts worth up to ₦4m, hands-on growth support, and a grant for expansion.
Paystack says the new Paystack Small Business Programme is designed to help Nigerian SMBs run day-to-day operations and prepare for growth. The company is starting with the Paystack Small Business Bundle, a set of partner offers that can reduce costs across key business functions.
The bundle covers practical needs like online selling, bookkeeping, logistics, design, workspace, customer communication, and other digital tools. In simple terms, it is a perks package, where eligible merchants get discounts instead of paying full price for software and services.
Paystack says eligible merchants can access up to ₦4 million in discounts, depending on the offers they qualify for. In its pilot phase, the company is targeting 2,000 Nigerian businesses, and it expects to add more partner offers over time.
Partners named by Paystack include Bumpa, Flowcart, PressOne, Shuttlers, Mercurie, gamp, and FezDelivery, Canva, Kindlybook, Simplebks, Africaworks, Bumpa, Ijeworks, Wiicreate, and others.
To qualify for the bundle, a business must have a live Paystack account, at least 10 Paystack transactions in the last 30 days, and be operating in Nigeria.
Many Nigerian small businesses struggle with basic operations, including record keeping, customer support, and delivery. Discounts on tools can lower operating costs, but Paystack is also adding two higher-touch options.
The Paystack Small Business Launchpad is positioned as direct support for “high-potential” businesses, helping them get more value from Paystack’s payment and commerce tools. The Paystack Small Business Grant adds a funding layer, which can be useful for inventory, hiring, or expansion, if selection criteria and amounts are clear as it rolls out.
