SAMIS is a Kenyan school management software platform for schools that need to manage academics, finance, inventory, timetabling, and e-learning from one connected system.

Key capabilities include:

• Academics (8-4-4 and CBE): admissions and streams, mobile marks entry, grade books, KNEC analysis, plus CBE strands, competencies, portfolios, and rubrics, with options to send exam results to parents via SMS.
• Finance: configurable fee structures, digital receipts with automatic parent SMS, supplier management, payment vouchers, bursary and scholarship tools, plus financial reporting (income, expenditure, balance sheet) and SMS fee balance reminders.
• Inventory: multi-store stock tracking (for example kitchen, lab, stationery, uniforms), low-stock alerts, purchase orders, supplier management, and audit trails with inventory reports.
• Timetable and e-learning: timetable generation with clash detection, teacher workload tracking, and printable schedules; e-learning support for notes, assignments, submissions, content libraries, and student progress tracking.

Available on Android, Web (browser portal), and Windows desktop. The Finance and Inventory modules support offline use with sync when connectivity returns.
