What verified product status means

What the verified badge means

A verified product badge means Liners checked the listing or the product relationship to a reasonable extent.

Verification can follow an approved claim, direct confirmation from a product contact, or a Liners review. Liners also treats a featured product as verified. Featured status remains a separate Liners decision.

What the badge does not mean

The badge does not mean that Liners:

• Tested every feature.
• Checked every price, country, or customer claim.
• Guarantees the company, product, or service.
• Recommends the product.
• Promises that all listing data will stay current.

Readers should still check the product's website and terms before making a decision.

Claiming and verification

An approved product claim confirms a relationship between the claimant and the product. Liners then gives the claimant access to the business dashboard and marks the product as verified.

A domain-matched product submission may associate the submitter with the product without granting verified status. Claim and submission checks are separate.

Ranking

Some listing pages may use verified status as one factor among product authority, approved review data, and other page signals.

Verified status does not change user ratings, comparison scores, alternatives similarity, or organic search relevance. Read how Liners ranks products for the page differences.

Keeping a verified listing accurate

Product owners can propose listing changes through the business dashboard. Liners reviews those changes before they go live.
