WorkRemits is a multi-currency global payroll and payment platform for businesses that hire, pay, and manage remote and distributed teams across multiple countries. It was spun off in 2023 from HRLeverage Africa, a pan-African HR consulting firm founded in 2014 by Seyi Babatunde, with Dan Adegoke as co-founder of the new payroll venture; WorkRemits itself launched in September 2025 and counts TikTok and OPay among clients that HRLeverage has helped hire across Africa.
