SureGifts

SureGifts is a digital gifting platform, headquartered in Nigeria and also operating in Kenya, that lets individuals and businesses buy, personalise, deliver, and redeem gift cards across a wide network of partner merchants. It was founded in January 2014 by Babafemi Lawal, Olaoluwa Samuel-Biyi, and Adeoye Ojo, former Jumia employees, with seed funding from Africa Angels Network and Venture Garden Group.

Key capabilities include:

• Aggregated gift cards including a generic gift card that can be redeemed across SureGifts partner merchants, plus partner-branded gift cards across categories such as fashion, electronics, and food.
• Gift card personalisation and delivery with the ability to add a message, photo, or video, then send the gift card to the recipient or to the buyer.
• Flex Gift Card with a dedicated online redemption flow.
• Bills and airtime purchasing from the same platform.

Available on Web, Android, and iOS. Business users can also integrate via APIs, with published Business API and POS API documentation.

In Kenya, the platform operates as suregifts.co.ke, offering the same core gift card, personalisation, and bill payment services under local branding.

It is notable in Nigeria's rewards and gifting market for operating as a gift card aggregator with 200+ merchant options and providing both consumer gifting tools and developer-facing API documentation for gift card and POS integrations.
