About Settlo Pay

Settlo Pay is a payment service for Tanzanian businesses that collects money on every local rail into one balance, then pays it out again from the same ledger. It is run by Settlo Technologies Ltd in Dar es Salaam.
Key capabilities:
- Collections: accept M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas, Airtel Money, HaloPesa, bank transfers and TANQR through bills, a hosted checkout or the API. A printable TANQR code works at the counter.
- Bills without code: create a bill in the dashboard and send it by WhatsApp, SMS, email or push. Each bill has its own page and updates when paid.
- Payouts: send money to any bank account or mobile money wallet, right away or on a schedule. Verified businesses get same-day (T+0) payouts with no holding period.
- Ledger and reconciliation: every movement has an ID, itemised fees and VAT, and the ledger exports to CSV.
- Developer API: payments, payouts and full or partial refunds (on M-Pesa and Mixx by Yas), signed webhooks and idempotency keys. There is no sandbox; test keys run on real rails.
Available on a Web dashboard and via API. Payment links are listed as coming soon.
Customers pay 2.5% at checkout and the business pays 2% on payouts, each plus VAT; for TANQR and bank control-number payments the business covers the 2.5%. Sole proprietors, companies and NGOs verify in the dashboard with a NIDA ID check, BRELA registration and TIN. Settlo Pay says it is a payment service provider registered by the Bank of Tanzania, and support replies in English or Swahili from Dar es Salaam.
