YMOAbdoulaye Barry is founder and CEO of YMO (since 2019), which is building digital payment infrastructure for Africa. Earlier, Barry founded and led Yitoo Technology (2017–2020), a software architecture and development consultancy, after software engineering and technical lead roles at companies including Figaro Classifieds, Prisma Media, SFR Business and TF1. Based in Paris, France.
Abdoulaye started in 2011 as a LAMP and ExtJS developer at Isobar, then became a web developer at TF1, integrating payment providers and writing HbbTV code for France's largest TV network.
Abdoulaye led the technical integration of SFR Business's cloud storage product, built a hosting PaaS API at AXA Tech, then became technical lead at Figaro Classifieds and senior software engineer at Prisma Media.
In January 2017 Abdoulaye founded Yitoo Technology, a consultancy offering pure technical expertise in software architecture and development, which ran until January 2020. In 2018 Abdoulaye also managed the build of Kering's enterprise API service as an agile IT project manager.
Since May 2019 Abdoulaye has led YMO as Founder and CEO, building digital payment infrastructure for Africa, where the profile says more than 1.2 billion people are unbanked or underbanked. The profile also lists MIT Sloan School of Management.
