Paystack is the gold standard for payments in Nigeria. The developer experience is unmatched - clean API, excellent documentation, and the test mode makes development painless. Since the Stripe acquisition, the product has only gotten better.

Good payment processor but customer support can be slow sometimes. The product itself works well but resolving disputes takes longer than expected. Still one of the better options available in the market.

Paystack makes collecting payments in Africa seamless. I especially love the recurring billing feature for my SaaS product. Dashboard analytics are insightful. Would appreciate more customization options for the checkout page.

Really great product for Nigerian businesses. Easy integration, good support team. The only thing I would improve is expanding to more African countries faster. Their Transfers API saved us so much time on disbursements.

We migrated from another payment processor to Paystack and never looked back. Transaction success rates improved significantly. The inline checkout is beautiful and builds trust with customers. Settlement is reliable and on time.
Reviewers consistently praise Paystack for being a reliable, high-performing payments platform in Nigeria/Africa, highlighting strong transaction success rates, on-time settlements, and a smooth checkout experience that builds customer trust. They also value the developer-friendly tooling—clean APIs, excellent documentation, easy integration, test mode—as well as features like recurring billing, analytics, and the Transfers API, alongside responsive support. Common concerns include wanting more checkout-page customization and faster expansion to additional African countries.
