VendRush

VendRush is a Nigerian hyperlocal commerce and on-demand delivery platform for customers ordering from nearby vendors, local merchants selling online, and independent dispatch riders handling last-mile delivery.

Key capabilities include:

• Multi-category marketplace covering food and drinks, groceries and essentials, pharmacy and medicine, local markets (produce and open stalls), beauty and personal care, electronics, and other everyday items.
• Nearby vendor discovery that lets customers browse vendors in their neighborhood, with listings described as sorted by distance, rating, and delivery speed.
• Checkout and payments with options listed as bank transfer, card, USSD, and a wallet.
• Dispatch and live tracking where a verified rider is assigned for pickup and customers can follow real-time GPS tracking with delivery updates.

Available on Web; the website also advertises Android and iOS apps.

Target users include consumers in covered areas (currently advertised as live in Lekki, Lagos), neighborhood businesses that need a digital storefront and order-management dashboard without building their own tech, and riders who want delivery gigs with onboarding that includes ID screening and guarantor verification.

In the Nigerian market, it positions itself as a three-sided marketplace designed around dense urban neighborhoods and quick local fulfillment, starting from Lagos, with support content focused on Lekki and an office address listed in Ikota, Lekki.
