NoteFusion

NoteFusion is an Android audio transcription app for choir directors, worship teams, music teachers, and instrumentalists who want to turn recorded or imported melodies into movable-do Tonic Solfa and staff notation.

Key capabilities include:

• Audio to notation transcription: Records or imports a clear melody, then analyzes pitch, rhythm, tempo, time signature, and key on its servers and returns both solfa and a staff score.
• Side-by-side solfa and staff view: Shows Tonic Solfa and staff notation together, with playback, basic editing, saving, and sharing for rehearsal and teaching.
• True movable-do solfa: Supports 24 major and minor keys, with la-based minors, chromatic syllables (de, ra, fe, se, ta), and octave marks to keep the line singable.
• Confidence scoring: Labels each transcription with a confidence level (for example High, Fair, Low) to indicate when a result may need double-checking.
• One-tap key changes: Changes key instantly by re-labeling solfa without re-recording or re-analysis.
• MusicXML export: Exports the staff notation as MusicXML for use in notation software such as MuseScore, Sibelius, or Finale.
• Synced library and privacy handling: Saves transcriptions to a searchable library that syncs across devices, while audio is deleted from servers once the transcription job finishes.

Available on Android (Google Play). iOS is mentioned as planned, but availability is not confirmed.

Target users include choirs, worship teams, and music educators, especially those who rely on Tonic Solfa rather than staff notation.

Notability: Tonic Solfa is widely used in choir and church music communities, including across many African contexts, and this app focuses on movable-do solfa output alongside staff notation and MusicXML export, which can help teams rehearse, teach parts, and share singable notation without manual transcription.
