What Happened

Talstack has expanded its people management platform with Time Off, a leave management module. It is designed to help organisations handle employee leave requests, speed up approvals, and keep clearer records.

Leave management is the process of tracking time away from work, like vacation, sick leave, and parental leave. Many companies still manage this with spreadsheets, email threads, forms, or chat messages. Talstack says Time Off is meant to replace those fragmented workflows with a single system.

The company says employees can request time off, monitor request status, and view available leave balances. Managers can review requests with visibility into team availability and coverage. Administrators can configure leave policies to match company rules and local requirements.

Talstack also says approvals and balance changes are logged centrally. This can help with compliance, reporting, internal reviews, and audits, which often require consistent records.

Time Off joins Talstack’s existing modules for performance management and learning. Those tools cover goal setting and tracking, 360-degree reviews (feedback from peers and managers), appraisals, continuous feedback, and training programs.
