Stitch Pulse is a new AI software suite built on payments data. Pulse Analytics is live for all Stitch payments clients, with fraud and onboarding tools next.
Stitch Pulse launched on October 14, 2026 as an AI software suite for enterprise businesses. Stitch Pulse is built on the payments data the company already handles for clients, so teams can use that data without standing up separate analytics infrastructure.
Stitch, listed on Liners as Stitch, says it works with large enterprises in South Africa, plus smaller businesses through its Express offering. Over time, the company built internal tools for reporting, onboarding, and fraud, and it is now packaging those tools into the Pulse suite for customers.
The first product is Pulse Analytics. It is available immediately to every Stitch payments client. Stitch positions it as an AI dashboard and “agent” that answers questions in plain language and highlights what changed in key payment metrics.
In practical terms, an AI agent is a chat-style assistant that can look at your company data and return explanations or next steps. In Pulse Analytics, Stitch says the agent can generate daily briefs, monitor metrics like conversion or approval rates, and surface likely causes for swings.
The roadmap includes Pulse Fraud Command Centre, focused on detecting anomalies and preventing payment fraud. Stitch also plans Pulse Onboarding, aimed at faster KYC and KYB checks, meaning identity checks for individuals and businesses.
African payment companies are increasingly moving up the stack from processing transactions to selling software. The logic is simple, payments data already captures customer behavior, checkout performance, bank routing, settlements, and cash flow signals.
For enterprise teams, the promise is less dependency on data teams and fewer delays waiting for custom dashboards. If Stitch can deliver useful alerts and explanations from day one, it could tighten how finance, risk, and operations teams respond to payment issues.
It also raises the bar for enterprise payments providers in South Africa. Buyers may start expecting not just payment rails, but built-in analytics, fraud tooling, and onboarding workflows that are directly connected to their transaction data.
