Stitch says Stitch Express Payouts is coming soon, letting merchants pay suppliers, bills and staff from their Stitch Express balance without bank…
Stitch has announced Stitch Express Payouts, a new feature that will let Stitch Express merchants send money out directly from their Stitch Express balance.
Stitch says Stitch Express merchants will soon be able to pay suppliers, bills and staff straight from their Stitch Express balance, without first moving funds to a bank account.
A key workflow is invoice-based supplier payments. Merchants will be able to upload a supplier invoice to the Stitch Express dashboard. Stitch Express will read the invoice and automatically extract the supplier’s banking details and relevant payment information. The merchant can then review the details and make a payout from their available Stitch Express funds.
On security, Stitch says users will need to set up passkey authentication before accessing Payouts. Passkeys are a login method tied to a device, operating system or password manager, and are intended to reduce reliance on passwords.
Stitch Express Payouts will also include role-based approval permissions. Stitch says team members can upload invoices and submit payout requests, while authorised Finance users and account Owners can approve payments.
Stitch positions the product as a way to reduce the friction between collecting money from customers and using those funds for business expenses. By keeping incoming payments and outgoing payouts in one platform, Stitch says businesses can simplify operations, improve access to working capital and gain more control over how their money moves.
