What Happened

Bujeti Smart Payment Links is now live inside Bujeti. It is a payment links feature, meaning a business can generate a secure payment page and share one URL instead of sending bank details back and forth.

Customers can pay through multiple methods, including card, bank transfer, and USSD (a short code flow used on feature phones). Bujeti says the checkout can be branded, so the payment page matches the business identity.

The company is positioning the launch as part of a broader push to connect collections with the rest of its finance workflows. Bujeti started with spend management, which is software for controlling company expenses through budgets, approvals, and cards. It has since added invoicing, virtual accounts, and bank connectivity tools to improve visibility into incoming payments.

With Smart Payment Links, Bujeti says incoming payments can be automatically categorised, tagged, and reconciled, then synced to accounting software. Reconciliation is the process of matching a bank payment to the right invoice or internal record so finance teams can close the books faster.

Bujeti also says links can support recurring payments and revenue sharing, which is splitting a payment across partners or beneficiaries.
