Alibaba Foundation is a non-profit foundation jointly established by Alibaba Group and its subsidiaries. It was registered with China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs in December 2011. Its disclosed investments span South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and Egypt, with a focus on health tech, services and marketplaces, e-commerce and retail, logistics and supply chain, and edtech.
