Defixerhub

Defixerhub is a web-based artisan-services marketplace for homeowners, businesses, and property managers in Rwanda to find, book, and pay tradespeople for home and commercial repair jobs.

Key capabilities include:

• Verified artisan profiles with ID and skills checks, plus ratings and reviews to help customers choose providers for plumbing, electrical work, painting, carpentry, cleaning, and general repairs
• Booking requests with job details and photo uploads, so customers can describe an issue and share context before a visit
• Quote-based pricing with negotiation, where artisans send tailored quotes and customers can accept or submit counter-offers until both parties agree
• MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) escrow-protected payments that lock funds until the customer confirms completion (or raises a dispute), with instant MoMo payouts and withdrawals for artisans once work is confirmed

Available on Web. Android and iOS.

Target users include customers who need reliable repair and maintenance services (homeowners, businesses, property managers) and artisans looking for booking requests, payments, and a reputation profile.

Notable in the African context, the platform is live in Rwanda (Kigali and beyond) and positions trust around MoMo-based automated escrow. The website also cites 500+ verified artisans, 2,000+ completed jobs, and a 4.8 average rating (site-reported figures).
