Completing the ID verification took close to 24 hours. I submitted saved copies of my identity which was immediately rejected but I didn't know. I had to take a live capture before it was then accepted. When paying for the USD virtual card, I had to convert NGN to USD in their respective wallets, unlike in other fintech apps where card fee is taken directly from NGN wallet. Also, the virtual card doesn't have its own wallet but gets debited from the USD wallet. In making a withdrawal, funds can be sent directly from your USD account to your local bank account. Overall, the user experience is commendable

I signed up on Cleva for the first time and completed my KYC, which took about two days to verify. After that, I deposited and was surprised there was no fee, and I also paid for a virtual card. Everything else was really quick and straightforward apart from the KYC, it was a bit slow

The sign up process was fair but completing KYC was slightly complicated. Had to do verification three times. Had to wait a few minutes for verification to be verified and approved so I couldn’t finish in one go.

I like that the fees on Cleva are stated clearly, so there are no surprises. Conversions are free too, so that’s a bonus. The KYC verification wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped, but the transactions have been pretty swift. Not bad.
