Schexus

Schexus is a connected education ecosystem for Nigerian schools that combines school discovery, administration, admissions, hiring, and educator resources in one platform.

Key capabilities include:

• School Directory and claimable listings, letting schools get discovered by parents searching, comparing, and choosing schools, then take ownership of their profile with photos, facilities, curriculum, and contact details.
• Institution Portal, a control center for managing a school's profile, presence, and access to the rest of the ecosystem.
• School ERP, covering day-to-day operations such as admissions, fees, attendance, results, payroll, and reporting, plus AI-driven academic insights and tamper-proof digital result verification.
• Online Admissions and Job Portal, to accept applications, review candidates, convert interest into enrollment, and recruit teachers and staff.

Available on Web.

Pricing runs on three tiers: a Free plan for up to 100 students with basic attendance, records, and parent notifications; a Professional plan (custom, billed per term) for unlimited students with fee collection, payroll, and admissions tools; and a custom Enterprise plan with multi-campus dashboards, advanced analytics, and a dedicated account manager.

Founded by Samfield Hawb (founder and CTO), with Ineyeneobong Udoh on AI/ML and Elijah Eyibio leading marketing, Schexus is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, and is currently recruiting early adopters through a Founding Schools onboarding push.

Built for a B2B2C audience, it primarily serves nursery, primary, secondary, and faith-based schools and school groups, while also supporting parents and education professionals through school discovery, careers, and community learning. It positions itself as "built for Nigerian schools, made to scale across Africa," and uses encrypted cloud storage, role-based permissions, regular backups, and audit logs for data security.
