18 Best NotJustEvent Alternatives & Competitors (2026)

Last Updated: We refresh this page when product relationships change or when its intro and FAQs are updated. The date shows the latest of those changes.

The most useful NotJustEvent alternatives in 2026 are Spaccy, SkillConnect, Celevend, Feteflex, and RushRush. The right choice depends on what you are booking (venues vs creatives), how much you care about escrow, and how quickly you want to shortlist vendors in Nigeria.

NotJustEvent is an online event marketplace for African planners to find verified vendors, venues, and performers, manage bookings, and sell tickets with escrow-protected payments. It is based in Nigeria, focuses on the African market, and its website advertises 1,000+ vendor listings.

People compare NotJustEvent competitors when they want a more specialised marketplace, for example venue-first search, creative-focused booking, or a lighter flow that stays centred on discovery and messaging instead of ticketing. Others simply prefer platforms that put more emphasis on escrow-held payments, or want options that feel more Nigeria-specific in categories and city coverage. None of this makes NotJustEvent a poor choice; it means the market now has specialists worth comparing.

What to Compare When Choosing a NotJustEvent Alternative

  • Marketplace depth in your city: check if providers are organised by category and location, so you can shortlist without scrolling endlessly.
  • Escrow and secured payments: if you want payment held until delivery, prioritise apps that clearly support escrow-style flows.
  • Verification signals: look for portfolios, work samples, and reviews, especially for high-risk bookings like photographers and decorators.
  • Venue-first vs vendor-first search: some apps are built around venue discovery, others around service vendors and creatives.
  • Messaging and chat tools: confirm you can message providers inside the platform, not only via external calls.
  • Planning helpers and AI search: if you want faster shortlisting, compare options that offer AI-assisted search or planning.
  • Event management extras: if you need RSVP or invitations, check which platforms include guest tracking alongside bookings.

Use Liners to filter and compare these options side by side before you move your next booking.
