Individuals find the right products. Businesses reach the right audience. One platform, free for both.
Tactful AI has extended its pre-Series A round with backing from ex-e& group CEO Hatem Dowidar, ahead of a next-gen agentic CX platform launch.
Tactful AI confirmed it has secured an investment from Hatem Dowidar as an extension of its pre-Series A funding round.
Tactful AI sells a unified customer experience platform, meaning businesses use one dashboard to manage customer conversations across channels like chat, social, and messaging.
The company previously raised US$1 million in a pre-Series A round that was co-led by Foras AI and M Empire. This latest extension adds Dowidar, a telecom and technology executive with more than 25 years of experience.
Dowidar led e& as group CEO from 2020 until March 2026. Before that, he held senior roles at Vodafone, including CEO of Vodafone Egypt.
Tactful AI has had an unusual ownership journey. It was acquired by European communications company Dstny in 2022, then reacquired by its founders in July 2025.
Tactful AI is positioning itself in a busy enterprise software space where “agentic AI” is becoming a key theme. Agentic AI means software agents that can take actions, not just answer questions, like routing a customer case, triggering follow-ups, or updating records.
The startup says its upcoming product will let enterprises build and edit end-to-end CX workflows in-house, and reduce development cycles from months to hours. It also claims it will keep human sign-off in every step, a common control used to reduce errors and compliance risk.
Tactful AI also shared growth metrics, saying annual recurring revenue since January 2025 is up 11.7 times, while monthly customer conversations processed on its platform are up 32 times.
Clients named include Elaraby Group, Raneen, 2B, Lucky One, Erada Finance and Simplex. Tactful AI plans to raise a Series A in 2027.
