Syspro says Fairline Yachts chose Syspro Cloud ERP and Syspro Torque to link design, procurement, production, and aftersales with AI-assisted reporting.
Fairline Yachts has selected Syspro’s cloud ERP software and its Torque AI platform.
Fairline Yachts has chosen Syspro Cloud ERP to run operations from design and engineering through procurement, production, warehousing, and aftersales. Syspro said the goal is to bring these teams onto one system, so data and workflows do not sit in separate tools.
ERP, short for enterprise resource planning, is business software that acts like a shared “source of truth” for finance, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, and service. In manufacturing, it typically includes features like bills of materials (the parts list for what you build), material requirements planning (calculating what parts you need and when), and shop-floor management (tracking work as it moves through a factory).
Syspro also said Fairline will use Syspro Torque, its industrial AI platform. Industrial AI in this context means AI tools that sit on top of operational data and help staff query, summarize, and report on what is happening, similar to a search box for company processes and numbers. Syspro added that decisions are logged and remain under operator control.
Fairline’s Head of Strategy, Performance and Innovation, Adrian Smith, said the company wanted an ERP platform with enough depth to support every part of the organisation. He added that the integrated AI layer should make it faster to create reports and interrogate data.
Manufacturers often struggle with handoffs between design changes, purchasing, and production scheduling. A change made by engineering can take days to reach procurement if teams rekey data or chase approvals across tools. Syspro’s pitch is that a single ERP system reduces these gaps, and that AI-driven reporting can shorten the time it takes managers to understand issues like stock shortages, quality defects, and delivery delays.
For operators and enterprise software buyers, this is another sign that ERP vendors are packaging AI features directly into core manufacturing systems, not as separate analytics products. That trend could matter for African manufacturers and distributors evaluating ERP upgrades, especially where teams need simpler reporting without adding more specialists.
