Syspro has released a new Syspro ERP update with Unified Product Traceability to support faster audits, recalls, and compliance reporting.
Syspro has announced general availability of the latest Syspro ERP release, anchored by Unified Product Traceability.
The company says the framework gives manufacturers and distributors a single, auditable view of product data from raw material to finished goods.
Syspro said Unified Product Traceability captures, stores, and reports traceability data across the product lifecycle. It includes support for FSMA 204 key data elements and EU Digital Product Passport requirements.
FSMA 204 is a set of rules tied to food traceability. The EU Digital Product Passport is a compliance requirement focused on product information.
Syspro said teams can respond to audits, recalls, and compliance reporting from one source, using data that lives in the ERP they already run on.
Syspro also said the new release can reduce the time needed to answer recall or audit requests. It described a process that used to take days of pulling records across multiple systems being answered from data already captured on the plant floor.
Syspro said the release improves catch weight handling. For variable-weight materials where the label weight rarely matches the purchase order, Syspro ERP now captures actual weight at job issue, job receipt, and purchase order receipt. The company said this helps yield variance and job costing reflect what was produced and received, not a planned quantity.
The update also adds Draft status for sales orders. Syspro said this lets the rules engine in Syspro Torque, its industrial AI platform, check header and line-level errors and warnings before an order goes active.
Syspro said orders with unresolved errors cannot proceed. Orders with warnings require captured approval, and a new Draft Order Review program lets teams search, filter, and fix flagged orders before they reach the warehouse.
The release also includes updates to contract pricing. Syspro said businesses can exempt individual customers from contracted product limits without relaxing the rule for everyone else, and that exceptions stay visible to the order team.
Syspro is positioning this release around auditability and compliance readiness. In regulated manufacturing and distribution environments, having one auditable view of product history can simplify audits and speed up recall responses.
Chris Lloyd, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Syspro, said: “ERP has spent decades recording what should happen. This release closes the gap between the plan and what actually happened, on the floor, in the warehouse and on the order.”
Syspro said the release is available now to all Syspro customers.
