Sudo says founders can issue virtual and physical cards faster using its no-code Dashboard or low-code API, with spend controls and PCI-ready data vault.
Sudo says founders can launch card products faster using two options, a no-code Dashboard and a low-code API.
In a May 18, 2026 blog post, Sudo outlined how its fintech infrastructure supports both non-technical and technical teams.
The company is positioning its Sudo Dashboard as the no-code route. No-code means you can set up and run workflows in a web interface, similar to configuring settings in an admin panel, instead of writing software.
Sudo says the Dashboard can be used to set up card programmes, create cardholders, and issue physical or virtual cards. It also supports card usage controls, which are rules that decide where a card can be used, when it can be active, and how much it can spend. Examples include merchant category restrictions and spending limits.
For teams that need deeper customisation, Sudo highlighted its API as the low-code route. An API is a way for one software system to talk to another using structured requests, like placing an order by sending a form automatically.
Sudo says the API can automate onboarding, card issuance, and policy enforcement without manual steps. It also points to a secure vault for sensitive card data, aimed at helping businesses meet PCI compliance requirements, which are security rules for handling payment card information.
Many African fintech founders start with small teams and limited engineering capacity. A no-code dashboard can help them test real card workflows and validate demand before hiring a full backend team.
At the same time, products that reach higher volumes often need automation and tighter integration with their apps, risk checks, and internal tools. By offering both dashboard-based operations and API-driven automation in one stack, Sudo is betting it can support teams from early launch through scale, especially for wallets, neobanks, and card-focused fintech products.
