Garment IO Release 26-07 Adds New Factory Displays

Garment IO Release 26-07 adds hourly operator throughput views, improved WIP charts, and better cutting, packing, and traceability filters.

In Short

Garment IO Release 26-07 is a product update for garment factories. It adds new production displays and improves filtering across cutting, packing, and reporting.

What Happened

Garment IO published Release 26-07, a set of usability and visibility upgrades aimed at factory floor teams.

The biggest new feature is an Hourly Operator Throughput display. It shows output per operator by hour, and breaks results down by style. Supervisors can also compare actual output against targets set through AI Daily Targets or the planning page. In simple terms, this is a live scoreboard for who is ahead, on target, or behind.

Garment IO also adjusted its WIP display, WIP means Work In Progress, which is the count of pieces moving through each production step. Previously, the first process in a WIP section always showed zero, which could distort charts. The updated view now shows the in-feeding number for the whole section, including the first process, and surfaces it in the section’s top tile.

On traceability, the Batch Groups tab now includes a Cutting Order Number column. This makes it easier to filter and track batch groups back to cutting orders, including cases where a group includes multiple cutting orders. Employee History also now shows the Production Order Number when expanding process details, helping managers connect worker activity to specific orders.

Finally, printing batch cards now supports search by Cutting Order Number, reducing manual scrolling. The packing module adds advanced filters for boxes by assortment, status, and quantity.

Why It Matters

Garment factories often lose time when production data is hard to read or hard to filter. Release 26-07 focuses on operational visibility, faster navigation, and clearer links between people, batches, and orders. For teams managing multiple styles and high volumes, these tweaks can make daily monitoring and audits more practical.
