SolarWinds shared a Service Desk update covering new releases like Graphical Workflows and GenAI tools, plus planned AI agents, bots, and reporting.
SolarWinds Service Desk published a product update listing what is recently released, what is in progress, and what is planned next.
The update highlights new workflow, reporting, sandbox testing, automation, and AI features.
SolarWinds Service Desk said it has recently released Graphical Workflows, a visual way to view workflow logic.
It also listed “GenAI: Tone Enhancer and Intelligent Problem Linking.” The post describes this as AI that helps technicians communicate better and link related problems to incidents faster.
Other recently released items include Sandbox Phase 1, which SolarWinds describes as a way to test changes before affecting production.
SolarWinds also announced “Auto-Attach Runbooks and Process Integration Actions in Automation Rules,” which it says lets automation rules orchestrate connected tools and not only tickets.
The update also includes Advanced Scope Builder, which it says helps apply the right SLA, meaning the service level agreement, to the right ticket.
SolarWinds added that “New and Old Reports EA” is available, and that eight reports, four existing and four new, were enabled for Early Access for select users.
SolarWinds said it is actively working on Autonomous AI Agents, described as automatically categorising incoming incidents without human triage.
It also listed a Requestor Bot, including Slack and Microsoft Teams, described as conversational self-service in tools users already work in.
The company said it is working on Sandbox Phase 2 for comparing, syncing, and deploying configuration changes “without the risk,” plus “Faster, Better-looking Reports,” and “GA existing reports,” which it describes as existing reports released with a new reporting data layer and new UI features.
In the same “Now” section, SolarWinds said it is working on project management features, dynamic forms for changes, and SMS in SWSD, with work that includes throttles and cleanup.
In the “Next” section, SolarWinds listed dependency mapping via discovery plus impact analysis, additional AI agents and bots, cascading automation rules, new KPI reports, an EA analytics MCP connector for connecting reporting data to AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT, custom reports and dashboards, and a unified calendar experience.
SolarWinds included a forward-looking statements note saying items in development may change and that the forum content is not a commitment to deliver specific features or timelines.
