SimpleOne has launched SimpleGen, an AI development tool that helps companies create and modify business applications using AI agents.
SimpleOne has released SimpleGen, an AI development tool.
The company says SimpleGen lets teams create new applications and update existing business applications using AI agents.
The tool is available to all SimpleOne clients and partners.
SimpleOne said SimpleGen is designed to reduce the time spent on steps around changing business applications, not just writing code.
The company listed tasks like agreeing requirements, handing work between roles, reviewing changes, moving updates to a test environment, and preparing documentation.
With SimpleGen, a developer can describe a task in text. The tool then prepares a specification with acceptance criteria, plus a step by step plan. It can also generate code and settings, deploy changes to a test environment, and write documentation.
SimpleOne said SimpleGen can be used with existing infrastructure because it connects to any SimpleOne environment and does not require installation on the environment itself.
SimpleOne said the results remain under the team’s control because the developer reviews each change before accepting it.
It also said the specification, plan, and final changes are saved in Git, a system that stores version history so teams can track what changed and why.
The company added that separate AI agents check the work at each stage, which it said reduces the risk of errors, model hallucinations, and deviations from the original requirements.
SimpleOne positioned SimpleGen as a new, fourth level in its platform’s development tools, alongside no code, low code, and pro code options. It said customers can choose between visual configuration, writing code themselves, or assigning tasks to AI agents.
In a statement, Ilya Radchenko, director of platform products at SimpleOne within ITG Corporation, said corporate software development is moving from isolated AI assistant experiments to using AI in company workflows. He added that customers want both speed of changes and predictable results, and said SimpleOne sees AI development as the next stage in low code platform development.
