Individuals find the right products. Businesses reach the right audience. One platform, free for both.
Nestuge launched account tiers and a new two-step KYC verification flow on July 31, 2026, aiming to reduce fraud and make onboarding faster.
Nestuge rolled out a new two-step verification flow and new account tiers on July 31, 2026. The update changes how creators verify identity and brands, and how withdrawals and product pricing limits work.
Nestuge says it is updating onboarding to improve security for creators and customers as the platform grows.
The new onboarding process has two steps. First is Identity Verification, which checks who a creator is using a government ID and a selfie. Second is Brand Verification, which collects business details needed to process payouts and confirm the creator’s brand.
Nestuge also introduced account tiers. These tiers set two key limits, the maximum price a creator can set for an individual product, and how much they can withdraw. Nestuge says the tiers are meant to manage risk and give creators a clear path to higher limits as their sales grow.
The company says earning potential is not capped. Customers can still buy products without restriction. The limits only affect product pricing thresholds and withdrawal amounts.
For creators who need higher limits, tier upgrades can be requested from the dashboard settings. Nestuge says its team will review upgrade requests and may ask for more information depending on the tier.
There is one extra rule for new creators. New brands will have a one-time seven-day waiting period before their first withdrawal. Nestuge says creators can still sell immediately and will see when funds become available in their wallet.
For creator economy platforms, payouts are a common target for fraud. Stronger KYC, which means “know your customer” checks used to confirm identity, can reduce chargebacks, fake accounts, and payment disputes.
For creators, tiered limits can be a tradeoff. It can add friction early on, especially with a seven-day first withdrawal wait. But it can also make payouts more reliable over time by reducing risk flags from payment partners and banks.
If Nestuge’s flow is smoother in practice, it could help more legitimate creators onboard quickly while pushing bad actors out of the marketplace.
