Gameball has integrated with SHOPLINE, so SHOPLINE merchants can install Gameball from the SHOPLINE App Store and run loyalty programs using their existing store data.
The company said SHOPLINE merchants can install Gameball from the SHOPLINE App Store and launch a loyalty program that runs on their existing store data.
Gameball positions the integration as a way to improve retention, which means getting customers to come back and buy again. It said many online stores find that the first order barely covers the cost of acquiring a customer, and that profits often come from second and third orders.
Gameball said its approach goes beyond points and discounts. Merchants can choose from a library of games and challenges and style them to match their brand identity. Customers can return to play, open up rewards, and climb tiers.
According to the announcement, SHOPLINE merchants using the integration can reward orders automatically with points, launch branded games and challenges, build VIP tiers and referral programs, and use Gameball’s AI to decide which customers to reward and when.
Ahmed Khairy, CEO and Co-founder of Gameball, said, “Most loyalty programs ask customers to collect points and wait. We built Gameball to give customers a reason to come back between purchases, not only when there's a sale.”
Christopher Yang, Co-President of SHOPLINE, said, “The apps we bring into the SHOPLINE App Store have to earn their place with results merchants can measure.” He added that Gameball comes “with a track record across more than 3,000 brands.”
For SHOPLINE merchants in categories where repeat purchases matter, Gameball adds a ready-made retention program without requiring merchants to build one themselves.
For Gameball, the SHOPLINE App Store provides another distribution channel for its gamified loyalty features, including VIP tiers, referrals, and AI-targeted rewards.
