Meteringonline (MOL) is a web-based meter data management and billing platform by Power Meter Technics (PMT) for municipalities and utilities, property funds and centre managers, and multi-site corporates that need auditable meter data, tariff application, invoicing, and reporting.

Key capabilities include:

• Data acquisition and head-end collection for half-hourly interval data from revenue-grade meters, with support for communications such as power-line, cellular, or IoT networks.
• Meter data validation with auditability, where every reading carries a state, so billed values retain a traceable record of origin and changes.
• Billing for South African tariffs, including time-of-use, sliding-window demand, and seasonal tariffs, converting validated readings into invoices.
• Analysis and reporting, including load profiles, weather-normalised baselines, benchmarking, dashboards, financial and engineering reports, plus emissions reporting per site and per tenant.

Available via a web portal (SaaS), with no customer-site software installation required. A documented JSON API is available for meter-register and interval data.

Target users include B2B metering and energy management teams in utilities, municipalities, commercial property portfolios, and corporates managing multiple sites and tenants.
