Odunayo Eweniyi is a serial entrepreneur and fintech pioneer based in Lagos and London. She is the co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of PiggyVest, Nigeria's largest digital savings and investment platform, which serves over 6 million users and manages assets exceeding $250 million. Beyond PiggyVest, Eweniyi co-founded FirstCheck Africa, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in tech startups founded or co-founded by women, and previously co-founded PushCV, a major African job recruitment platform. As an investor, Eweniyi focuses on seed-stage companies across Nigeria, with particular emphasis on fintech, productivity tools, and real estate technology. Her investment portfolio includes companies such as Sudo, a developer-first payments API platform; Norebase, a compliance and market expansion tool; and Venco, a property management platform. Between March and December 2022, she invested approximately $5.4 million across three seed-stage rounds, often co-investing with established venture capital firms and angel investors. Eweniyi's work spans financial inclusion, gender equity in technology, and entrepreneurship support. She serves as a board member at Village Capital and sits on advisory boards for TrainFuture and the Gender Lens Acceleration Best Practices Initiative.
