It is managed by Mazen Nadim, Omar Barakat, and Ziyad Hamdy, with offices in Giza, Egypt. Foundation Ventures has invested $73.1 million across 7 funding rounds from December 2020 to April 2025, focusing exclusively on Egypt-based startups. It targets seed (4 rounds), Series A (1), venture (unspecified, 1), and other stages (1), with emphasis on fintech (3 investments), e-commerce and retail (2), logistics and supply chain (1), and real estate and property (1). Portfolio companies include Rabbit (groceries delivery), Swypex (corporate cards and banking), Trella (truck freight booking), Nowpay (financial wellness), and Sakneen (property sales platform).
