Perhaps it's because they are less popular than established competitors like Glovo and Chowdeck, a rep calls to confirm your order and delivery too. It could also be in order to avoid mix ups, since they fulfilled my order from the restaurant as a middleman, then deliver with their rider. Regardless, I was fascinated about how this added a sprinkle of personal touch to their customer service. One thing that needs improvement, though, is their vendor list. There are very few verified vendors and even those usually don't have a functional menu. So the best bet is 3rd party chain restaurants like Chicken Republic and The Place if you're not located in Ikeja GRA and upscale parts of Lagos Island. Overall, it was a seamless order checkout and quick delivery.

My experience with Foodelo was great, especially their customer service. They stayed in constant communication with me on WhatsApp while I waited for my food to be delivered, and I was provided with the rider's number. The rider was also polite. Delivery didn't take too long either. It was a great experience overall.

What stood out for me was the customer service. Even though, I did not have any issues with my order and I was also able to track my order via the app, they still had support send me a message on WhatsApp to notify me of the status of my order and also to provide me with the rider's number. It was seamless to register on the app as well. The only place for improvement is map tracking as well as having delivery done on time. If delivery on Sunday from Ikeja to Iyana Ipaja still took about 45 minutes, I wonder how soon one's order arrives on a weekday.

The customer support was good. The representative kept me in the loop, which I appreciated because there was a delay in the preparation of my meal. The rider was also professional and polite. Overall, a good experience.
