A Liners comparison covers two or three products. A reader may request a comparison, or Liners may prepare one for publication.

Liners checks that the products have a valid relationship before generating the comparison. It then uses product facts, public sources, and the criteria shown on the page.

Research and drafting

TL;DR Tara may help research features, pricing, audience, availability, integrations, strengths, and limits. AI may draft the first comparison from that research.

Liners checks the draft for structure, missing sections, source fit, and unsupported claims. A draft that needs more judgment stays out of publication until a Liners reviewer can check it.

Criterion scores

Each comparison uses the criteria shown on the page. The content should explain why a product received each score and note missing or uncertain information.

The final result comes from those visible criteria. Liners does not change a score because a product pays for a listing or ad.

Alternatives and comparison eligibility

Liners may use its product-alternatives data to decide which products make sense together. That step reduces comparisons between unrelated products.

Pricing, features, and availability change. Liners may update a comparison when new sources show that the content is stale or wrong.

A comparison reflects the sources and product information available when Liners reviewed it. It cannot test every customer, plan, country, or use case.
