How following and notifications work
How product follows, in-app notifications, and the weekly email roundup work.
Follow a product
Signed-in users can follow a product to receive updates. Following is free.
A follow can lead to an in-app notice when Liners publishes a tracked update about the product, such as:
- News or funding.
- An approved review.
- A tracked event.
- A delisting or publication change.
Liners does not notify you about your own review. Product owners do not receive follower notices for reviews on a product they manage.
Read how reviews are moderated for the approved review state.
In-app notifications
The header bell shows unread notices. You can open the full notifications page to view and manage them.
Liners may remove old notification records after the retention period used by the service. A removed notice does not remove the public product update.
Weekly roundup
Touch Base Tony sends one weekly email with recent updates across the products you follow.
Liners skips the email if no followed product has an update. A product you unfollow before the roundup no longer belongs in that email.
Each roundup includes an unsubscribe control.
Preferences
Open dashboard settings to turn the weekly email on or off. Turning it off does not remove your follows or in-app notifications.
Delivery failures or spam complaints may stop the email.
Email archive
A roundup can link to a saved dashboard view of the updates in that email. Clearing an in-app notice does not change that saved roundup.
