Vezeeta will manage and operate a fully integrated medical building inside Upwyde Developments’ Prk Vie project in New Cairo, combining in-person clinics with digital appointment booking and service management.
Upwyde Developments has signed a strategic agreement with Vezeeta to run a medical building within its Prk Vie mixed-use development in New Cairo’s Golden Square.
The facility is planned as a hybrid healthcare model. That means it mixes physical care, like doctor visits and clinics, with digital tools, like booking and managing appointments online.
Upwyde Developments said the move fits its broader plan to build mixed-use destinations. These projects bundle housing, offices, retail, and essential services, including medical services, in one place.
Vezeeta said the partnership expands its operating model into physical healthcare assets. The company is best known for its digital platform that connects patients and healthcare providers, and also supports telemedicine, which is a remote doctor consultation over phone or video.
The medical building is expected to host multiple clinics and healthcare services that are operated via Vezeeta’s platform. The goal is to make access simpler for both patients and medical practitioners inside the Prk Vie development.
For Vezeeta, this is another step from being mainly a booking and teleconsultation app to also running on-the-ground healthcare locations. That can create tighter control over patient experience, scheduling, and service quality.
For Egypt’s real estate developers, embedding healthcare into commercial and residential compounds can raise occupancy and foot traffic. It also supports a “live, work, and get care” approach that is becoming common in large urban developments.
For users, the appeal is convenience. If Vezeeta’s online booking is tightly linked to physical clinics, it can reduce waiting times and make follow-ups and referrals easier to coordinate.
