Paga has opened a waitlist for online access to the Dangote Refinery IPO. Investors can subscribe via invest.paga.com using wallets, transfers, ACH, or wires.
Paga announced on September 8, 2026 that it is enabling online access to the planned Dangote Petroleum Refinery IPO through invest.paga.com. The company says its waitlist is live, and that the platform will notify users when the official subscription window opens.
The offering is expected to be one of the biggest listings on the Nigerian Exchange. Paga is positioning its portal as a digital primary market gateway, meaning a regulated online route for applying for new shares during an IPO.
According to Paga’s post, investors will need a Bank Verification Number, or BVN, which is Nigeria’s bank-linked identity number used for compliance checks. Applicants will also need stockbroking details such as a CSCS account and CHN, which are identifiers used to hold shares electronically on the NGX. Paga says new investors can still proceed and a CSCS profile will be created through a SEC-licensed stockbroker partner.
Paga says users can fund subscriptions using Naira wallets, bank transfers, USD accounts, US ACH, domestic wire, or international wire and SWIFT. ACH is a US bank transfer system, similar to local bank transfers but for American accounts.
Online IPO subscriptions can reduce paperwork and in-person brokerage steps that often slow retail participation. If the portal works as described, it could make NGX primary offers more accessible for everyday investors in Nigeria.
The diaspora angle is also notable. Paga says non-resident Nigerians can participate without a local Nigerian bank account, using US payment rails and international wires, with FX converted at official market rates. That could expand the pool of retail demand for large Nigerian listings.
