OdiBets has gone live with QTech’s aggregation platform across Kenya and Tanzania.
The rollout covers both casino and sportsbook.
The companies say the focus is higher turnover, more cross-sell, and better retention.
OdiBets, a betting operator, said it has integrated QTech’s aggregation platform in Kenya and Tanzania. An aggregation platform is a hub that lets an operator plug into many game and sportsbook suppliers through one technical connection.
The casino launch includes localised content such as crash games, plus “lightweight” games designed to work better on lower-end phones. Lightweight here means smaller files and simpler graphics, which can load faster and use less data.
QTech said it is tuning performance for East Africa by reducing caching and testing games on low- and mid-tier Android devices. Caching is when an app stores data locally to speed up loading, but it can be unreliable on limited storage and slower devices.
On the sportsbook side, QTech said it is using a “multi-sportsbook strategy”. This means OdiBets can choose between multiple sportsbook products based on market fit, including options for localised features and managed trading. Managed trading is when a supplier helps set odds and manage risk, instead of the operator doing it in-house.
QTech named BETBY and Song88 among the suppliers in its portfolio.
For operators in Kenya and Tanzania, performance often decides whether users stay or churn. If casino games load quickly on common Android devices and weaker networks, operators can improve conversion and reduce drop-offs.
The multi-sportsbook approach can also shorten time to market for new betting features. It gives OdiBets flexibility to adjust its sportsbook stack without rebuilding everything.
The partnership is also a signal of how iGaming platforms are packaging product, BI, and marketing tooling together. BI, short for business intelligence, is analytics that helps an operator track player behaviour and spending, then target promotions and retention campaigns more precisely.
