Moov Money Tchad Partners ANIE on Business Setup Payments

Moov Money Tchad and Chad’s National Agency for Investments and Exports (ANIE) have signed a partnership to digitise payments linked to creating and formalising businesses.

What Happened

The agreement was signed on September 18, 2026, at ANIE’s headquarters.

The goal is to integrate Moov Money Tchad into the Guichet Unique de Création d’Entreprise, Chad’s one-stop shop for company registration. A one-stop shop is a single place, physical or online, where entrepreneurs complete multiple registration steps.

With the integration, users should be able to pay administrative fees electronically. Electronic payments mean paying with a mobile wallet instead of cash at a counter, like paying a bill from your phone.

Moov Money Tchad’s director general, Saïd Hably, said the partnership is meant to make public services easier to access, while supporting financial inclusion and digital inclusion. Financial inclusion is access to basic financial services like payments and savings.

ANIE said the partnership fits into a wider push to digitise its services, including a digital platform for business creation and formalisation. The new Moov Money payment option is expected to complement this platform by improving speed, transparency, and traceability, meaning clearer records of who paid what and when.

Why It Matters

For entrepreneurs, payments are often one of the slowest parts of business registration. If mobile money payments work reliably, founders can reduce in-person visits and wait times.

For government agencies, digital payments can improve revenue collection and reduce cash handling. Better traceability can also support audits and reduce disputes over fees.

For Chad’s fintech and telecom ecosystem, the deal shows how mobile money providers like Moov Money are moving deeper into public sector payments, not just person-to-person transfers.

The next test will be execution, including user onboarding, agent support, and whether the payment flow is available nationwide, not only in N’Djamena.
