Moonshot by TechCabal will hold its fourth edition in Lagos on October 28 and 29, 2026, returning to the National Theatre Nigeria.
Moonshot by TechCabal is coming back to Lagos for its fourth edition on October 28 and 29, 2026. The event will hold at the National Theatre Nigeria.
Moonshot by TechCabal, TechCabal’s flagship pan-African technology conference, has announced dates and venue for its 2026 edition.
The organisers say the conference will run for two days in Lagos, Nigeria, and will bring together founders, investors, operators, and other ecosystem players.
Tomiwa Aladekomo, CEO of Big Cabal Media, said Moonshot has become a yearly meeting point for African tech to “take stock, to make deals, and to decide what comes next.” He added that more details on the 2026 programme will be shared in the coming weeks.
Large conferences are not just for talks and panels. They are also marketplaces for partnerships, fundraising conversations, and hiring.
Moonshot’s organisers are positioning the event as a key convening for Africa’s startup ecosystem and its global backers. They claim the 2025 edition hosted about 6,000 attendees from 39 countries across six continents.
They also say that, across the conference’s first three years, more than 12,650 participants from 44 countries have attended. In the event’s own framing, many attendees are “funders, investors, or ecosystem enablers,” meaning people and organisations that support startups with capital, networks, and services.
For Lagos, the return matters because it keeps the city on the calendar for pan-African dealmaking. For startups, it signals another chance to meet investors in one place, especially those focused on African Fintech, AI & Analytics, and Developer Tools & Cloud products.
