MoneyHash Partners with HyperPay to Expand MENA Coverage

In Short

  • MoneyHash and HyperPay have announced a partnership focused on MENA payment acceptance.
  • Merchants using MoneyHash can access HyperPay through a single integration.
  • The companies say this expands regional coverage across Saudi Arabia, the GCC, and Jordan.

What Happened

MoneyHash said it has partnered with HyperPay, a regional e-payment gateway, to widen payment coverage for merchants operating in the Middle East and North Africa.

The main promise is “single integration.” That means a merchant connects to MoneyHash once, then turns on HyperPay inside the same setup, instead of building and maintaining a separate technical connection.

MoneyHash positions this as payment orchestration, which is software that sits above multiple payment providers and lets a business manage them in one place. In practice, orchestration can support features like intelligent routing, which is automatically choosing a payment provider based on rules like success rates or country coverage. It can also provide centralized reporting, meaning a business sees performance and settlement data across providers in one dashboard.

HyperPay’s footprint includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, and Lebanon. MoneyHash says adding HyperPay strengthens its network for merchants expanding across Saudi Arabia, the wider GCC, and nearby markets.

Why It Matters

For businesses selling across multiple MENA markets, payments are often fragmented. Each country can have different preferred payment methods, local banking requirements, and provider contracts. A single API setup can reduce engineering time, lower ongoing maintenance, and speed up market launches.

This partnership also points to growing demand for infrastructure tools that help merchants optimise payment performance, not just “add a gateway.” As more commerce shifts online, merchants are paying closer attention to approval rates, reconciliation, and operational visibility, especially when scaling across borders.
