GreenBii has launched its App Market, letting African SMEs browse, add, and manage business apps from one dashboard, with bundled industry tools.
GreenBii has launched its App Market, a built-in marketplace where users can explore and integrate new applications into the platform. GreenBii is positioned as an all-in-one business management suite for African SMEs.
An “app market” is a catalog of add-on tools, similar to installing apps on a phone, but for business software. Instead of switching between separate tools with different logins, GreenBii is pitching one dashboard, one subscription, and connected data across apps.
On its website, GreenBii highlights apps across areas like accounting and simple website creation. Examples include Bookkeeping for inventory, expenses, assets, and profit and loss reporting, and E-commerce webber for building a basic business website.
GreenBii also promotes pre-configured bundles for specific sectors, including retail, schools and academies, and real estate. The idea is to reduce setup time for SMEs that do not have dedicated IT teams.
Many African SMEs run operations across separate tools for invoicing, inventory, payments, and reporting. That often leads to duplicated work, inconsistent records, and higher monthly software costs.
If GreenBii’s App Market attracts enough useful apps and keeps integrations stable, it could help SMEs standardise workflows. For operators, the key questions will be pricing, local support, and how well data moves between apps without manual exports.
This is also a signal that more African SME software providers are leaning into platform models, where third-party apps and internal modules can be added as a business grows. That can make it easier for SMEs to start small, then expand features without migrating to a new system.
