Fortebet sponsored the October Real Stars Awards with Jude Colour Solutions, recognising Kyaggwe figures and winners across multiple sports.
Fortebet sponsored the October Real Stars Awards alongside Jude Colour Solutions. The awards recognised coach Ronald Ssali, county chief Vincent Ssekiboobo Matovu Bintubizibu and player George Kato for Kyaggwe’s Masaza Cup success.
Fortebet sponsored the October Fortebet Real Stars Awards together with Jude Colour Solutions, according to a Monitor report dated November 4.
At the ceremony held at Molecule Restaurant in Kololo, Kampala, three Kyaggwe figures were recognised after the county won the Masaza Cup. Coach Ronald Ssali received a lifetime achievement award. County Chief Vincent Ssekiboobo Matovu Bintubizibu was recognised for leadership. George Kato received the football Real Star accolade for his match winning contribution in the final.
Ssekiboobo credited God for Kyaggwe’s success and thanked the organisers and sponsors of the awards. He also praised Kato’s decisive goal, describing it as one that could stand alongside some of the best goals scored in the English Premiership, and said it had Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II celebrating at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
Ssekiboobo said Kyaggwe wanted to win again next year and that he received congratulatory messages from friends in the USA. He also challenged sports journalists to encourage young footballers to embrace discipline, and warned that Kyaggwe’s maiden triumph would not be followed by complacency.
The October boxing Real Star went to Vanessah Nagawa, who was named the first Ugandan female boxer to win a gold medal in the women’s featherweight 57kg category at the 2026 Africa Elite Boxing Championships in Nairobi, Kenya. The report says she recorded two knockouts on the way to gold and won the final via a Referee Stopped Contest win.
The report also lists table tennis player Joseph Sebantira as another winner at the awards.
Sports award sponsorships like the Real Stars Awards put brands in front of large, loyal audiences. In this case, Fortebet’s sponsorship is tied to high visibility winners from football, boxing and table tennis, and to Kyaggwe’s Masaza Cup story.
