Fawry and Domty launched a B2B loyalty program in Egypt, using scratch-card cash-out vouchers redeemable instantly via Fawry Plus stores and POS.
Egyptian fintech Fawry and Arabian Food Industries Company, Domty, announced a partnership to roll out a B2B loyalty program for Domtyโs wholesale and distribution network.
The idea is to move trade promotions from manual processes to a more trackable digital setup. Trade promotions are the discounts, rewards, and incentives FMCG brands use to motivate distributors and retailers to stock and push products.
Under the new system, Domty will place scratch cards inside product packages. Each card contains a cash-out voucher. Wholesalers and distributors can redeem the voucher value instantly through Fawry Plus stores or through Fawryโs nationwide retail point-of-sale network. POS is the checkout terminal used to accept and process payments.
Both companies say this should speed up capital turnover for traders, meaning partners get their promo value faster and can restock sooner. Fawry also positions the product as a customizable loyalty platform that helps brands track performance and target incentives more precisely.
FMCG distribution runs on tight margins and frequent restocking. When rewards are slow, paper-based, or hard to verify, promotions can turn into disputes and delays. Instant redemption through an existing agent and POS footprint can reduce friction for wholesalers outside major cities.
The partnership also signals where Egyptโs fintech growth is heading next. Beyond consumer payments, more fintech infrastructure is being applied to B2B workflows like distributor incentives, channel finance, and supply chain efficiency.
Finally, using digital redemption points can reduce the need for cash handling in B2B promotions, aligning with broader financial inclusion goals and Egyptโs push for a more digital economy.
