DrugStoc is a technology-enabled pharmaceutical distribution company. That means it uses software and logistics infrastructure to move medicines from manufacturers and importers to pharmacies and healthcare providers.
According to the announcement, DrugStoc serves more than 4,000 healthcare providers through its platforms and tools. These include e-commerce ordering, inventory management, and pharmacy operations support.
HFN president Njide Ndili said the partnership matters because access to healthcare depends on access to quality medicines. She also pointed to structural issues in the medicine supply chain, including fragmented distribution, limited visibility, and counterfeit or substandard drugs.
DrugStoc also highlighted its broader product set, including pharmacy tools like Pillometer and training through DrugStoc Learning. The company also runs a pharmacy-led micro-health insurance model, which is a low-cost insurance product distributed through pharmacies.
