Banco de Fomento Angola (BFA) announced it will open a Commercial Treasury in Lubango, in Angola’s Huíla province.
The site will be located at the Millenium Shopping Centre. The opening is set for 4 November.
BFA said it is inaugurating a “Tesouraria Comercial”, which the bank describes as a structure designed to reinforce the availability of banking services.
The bank also said the space is dedicated to treasury operations. In everyday terms, treasury operations are cash and money handling services that banks run for customers and businesses.
BFA said the Commercial Treasury will operate from the Millenium Shopping Centre in Lubango.
For customers in Lubango, the new BFA location is meant to increase access to banking services in a mall setting.
