Following Products & Notifications

Overview

Follow a product on Liners to stay in the loop. Follows are free and give you in-app notifications plus a Monday email digest from Touch Base Tony. You can turn the email off; the in-app feed is always on.

What Triggers a Notification

You get notified when a product you follow has:

• News: editorial coverage curated by TL;DR Tara, sent the moment an article mentioning the product goes live.
• Funding: a new round announced for the product, tracked by DD Dave.
• Reviews: a new review after Agent Ammie moderates it. You don't get notified about your own reviews, and product owners are excluded from reviews on their own product.
• Events: the product is sponsoring, attending, or hosting an event we track.
• Delisting: a product you followed was removed or unpublished.

In-App Notifications

Every trigger writes a row to your notifications feed in real time. The bell icon in the header shows an unread badge. Click it for the latest ten, or "See all" to open your notifications with filters and day groupings.

The Monday Email Digest

Every Monday at 08:00 UTC, Touch Base Tony sends one summary email covering the past 7 days across the products you follow.

• One email per week.
• Skipped if you have zero updates that week.
• Subject line is built from your top updates.
• Products you unfollow mid-week drop out of that Monday's digest.
• One-click unsubscribe in the footer.

Managing Your Preferences

Head to Settings in the dashboard to toggle the weekly roundup. That's where you can turn it off in case you get tired of Touch Base Tony.

Hard bounces and spam complaints automatically disable the email.

Per-Week Digest Archive

Every Monday digest links to /dashboard/digest/yyyy-Www, a snapshot of what the email summarized. The archive stays accessible even after you've cleared the individual notifications.

Note: Notifications are pruned after 90 days.
